Mussar: Developing Four Soul Traits to Elevate Your Life (Winter 2021)
The Jewish tradition of Mussar offers all of us a deep and rich experience of wisdom and spirituality. Join educator Sara Ross Kupor to study this centuries-old framework for encountering sacred texts and integrating practices into our daily lives. Our explorations will focus on one of these each session: gratitude, compassion, generosity, and judging others favorably. Our goal is to experience transformation through the deep encountering of Jewish and social science resources. In addition to these texts, we will use music, movement, written reflections, and art to integrate these soul traits (middot) into our daily lives.
