What are the Jewish holidays?
What do they mean for us today?
What is the most important Jewish holiday?
What are the rituals of Jewish lifecycle events?
What do they mean, and what about being a guest at a bris, a bar mitzvah, a wedding?
What’s expected?
And did you know that Jewish mourning practices are also one of the keys to Jewish community?
These are the questions we will explore in IJE: Holidays and Life Cycle, 8 weeks of 90-minute classes.
The goal of the IJE three-part series is to equip Jews and others to participate fully and comfortably in Jewish communal life. Each part of the series is designed to work both as a stand-alone class, and as part of an “Intro” series. No Hebrew or prior knowledge is required.
